New startups

We are regularly providing accounting support to new startups in their application to the FSA. We provide an overview of what is needed and give advice on business plans and financial forecasts. We can also give advice on group structures and help individuals with tax problems arising from initial structuring.

Forensic accounting

Littlejohn helped a major investment manager assess and deal with its position in the recent FSA investigation of the split-capital investment trust industry. Through its client-oriented value added approach, the firm was able to provide decision-making support to the Board in its dealings with both internal and external parties, in particular by assessing its potential exposures through detailed data analysis and scenario modelling. The firm also provided forensic accounting support to the legal team, both through advice on financial issues and through the identification of relevant evidence through analysis.
